What can I do if the pump is faulty?

Occasionally an air bubble gets into the pump and stops it working. Almost always the following method will clear the air from the pump. Hold the bottle upside down with the lid on and bang the bottle down against a solid surface two or three times. You would need to ensure not to do this on a surface that will mark.
